Why indoor air
quality is important
In our lifetimes, we each spend tens of thousands of hours indoor – at work, houses, gyms, movies, restaurants, bars, etc . We work, study, drink, sleep, smoke and do other activities in enclosed environments where air circulation is very restricted.
Indoor places are commonly filled with Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), harmful particulates, various aldehyde, and microorganisms such as viruses, bacteria, mould, spores and pollens.
Poor-quality indoor air can cause major health problems, such as allergies and respiratory diseases
And even the minor ailments, such as headaches and eye irritation, can cause discomfort and distraction that can ultimately lead to lower productivity and overall health discomfort
Some experts believe that people are more likely to suffer from the effect of indoor air pollution than the outdoor
